Ryan and Elsa requested I make cabbage a St. Patrick's Day tradition. Actually, I think they begged me not to make it more than once a year. I liked it though. And they downed the potatoes and carrots and even the corned beef. Is it corn or corned?
The spread included zucchini bread made in the crock pot (I am so good!), green grapes, avocado slices, pickle slices, green Jell-O (for St. Patrick’s Day, and because it’s the official state food), pistachio pudding (not a hit with the locals, or, as it turns out, anyone in my household), and little green gummy candies. We also go balloons, because according to Elsa, there is no better way to celebrate any occasion than by getting balloons.
