Playing for Change

I thought this was VERY cool and I wanted to share. I guess they traveled all over the world, and recorded a bunch of street performers and choirs singing the same song and then edited it all together so that they were harmonized.

This is the website, go to it and click the Journey tab and watch the video of the guy talking about the project:

There are more videos on the website too; the two I am posting are my favorites.

Elsa says she is boring, but I thought you might want to see her wiggle anyway.

Elsa's Easter Dress

Doborah ran Elsa by my place so I could see her before she went off to her Easter festivities, so I was able to snap some pictures.

Deborah also did the hair. Elsa was just excited because the dress had a "puff" in the skirt.

Pretty Pictures of My Little Girls

Elsa has been very anxious to get to stand/walk with Adele so we tried it out a little tonight. She did well, but Ryan and I are still trying to get our heart rates back to normal.

Adele's First Bath

Adele's skin in the diaper area was looking a bit sore and dirty and the wipes didn't seem to do it so we tried a bath tonight. I expected there to be screaming since she does not even like her feet exposed to air, let alone an entire wet body. She fussed a little at first but seemed to be ok with the warm water Elsa was squeezing all over her. Ok with it, she didn't seem to love it. I don't know if you recall, but Elsa was delighted by the bath the second I got water on her. Cold water, hot water, what ever. Elsa just liked being wet.
Then Adele made this face...
We have no idea what it means. It's new.

This face is NOT new. She has shown it to me every single time I change her diaper or clothes. I believe it means she would like to be dressed and tightly wrapped in warm blankets immediately.

Introducing Adele Elizabeth

Ten minutes after being born, in the NICU.

That's her lovely head IV. When they moved us to the regular new born unit, she was the only one to have one. The other babies teased her relentlessly.
No, this is not a camera angle thing. That is really the size of her head in proportion to Ryan's hand.

Elsa and Adele meeting for the first time.

This is them flushing out her head IV and checking her...what ever those wires are checking.

She was the smallest baby on the regular unit, and the biggest in the NICU. She didn't really fit in. You know she is my kid though, low percent of body fat, and yet some how she manages to get chunky thighs. World just ain't fair.

Adele in her new born, going home outfit. We made Elsa buy the "Newborn" size instead of preemie a couple weeks ago--we will never hear the end of it.
